Our aim is for you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from us.

Any information about you that we obtain will be treated as confidential. Your contact information will only be used by us for the purpose(s) you have given your active consent to. Below is the longer version of this.


1. Who we are

The Art of Creative Awareness is a site operated by Volung Limited on behalf of Ignacio Lalanne. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 09057517.

2. Product information

Any sale is a sale of the object only and does not convey the copyright to the artwork. We do, of course, allow you to use the image of your artwork fairly for non-profit purposes. Note that we may sell posters or other merchandise using the image of your artwork. If you would like to purchase the copyright to any particular work, then please contact us.

We use good quality material and treat all artwork to ensure longevity. However, the artworks we sell are made from perishable material and are fragile in nature. Please take good care of your unique piece of art to ensure you can enjoy it for many years to come. The Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute has a good writeup on how to look after your artwork.


3. Right to cancel - 7-day money back guarantee

You have the right to cancel the purchase of a good without having to give a reason at any time within the "cooling off period" of seven working days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods. 

We would love to know why you returned your purchase to make sure we can learn and improve from your experience with us. Even if it is just because your uncle John doesn't like the colour blue. However, if you prefer to give no reason at all, then that is OK too.

If you are in possession of the goods you have a duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us as soon as possible once you have canceled the purchase. We will refund you the purchase amount plus the cost of postage if you provide us with a copy of your postage receipt showing proof of postage and the cost.

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of us receiving the returned artwork or other product.

You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of an artwork made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned.


4. Notices

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter.) In providing the the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressee.


5. Conclusion

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
